MOS2 (Teflon/Molybdenum) Coated Skirts: A rolled-on application process provides a bond that is 10 times stronger than other spray on coatings. Benefits include increased heat transfer, reduced friction, and helping to eliminate cold seizures.

Machined Smooth Heads: Reflects combustion heat and reduces carbon buildup, protecting the top of the piston. Some tests have shown this feature can increase horsepower and fuel economy by up to 6%.

Anodized Domes: Increases heat resistance and durability; pistons with anodized domes are 75% stronger than non-anodized pistons.

Hypereutectic Casting Process: Provides higher silicon content for reduced expansion rates and additional wear resistance; it also has an ability to withstand higher cylinder temperatures.



Piston kits come with the piston individually wrapped; a set of OEM quality rings packed in their own box, a wrist pin, and circlips.

Our piston kits are direct replacements for OEM piston with no modifications or dimensional adjustments needed. Combine this with the MOS2 coating and hard anodizing, Namura gives you a higher performance piston without the higher price.

We offer a variety of oversizes to meet your needs. They are offered in 0.25mm increments, from the -1 (0.25mm over) through the -6 (1.5mm over) for most applications. We also carry B (0.01mm) and C (0.02mm) pistons, which help extend the life of your expensive Nikasil®, Boron Composite, or Ceramic Cylinders. Often overlooked and unglamorous, they are an essential part of an engine’s efficiency and durability. The materials used in the manufacturing of piston rings are one of the most critical factors in their performance. Namura uses the best materials matching the ring design to its application.



Our bearings are manufactured from SCM415 steel and treated using a process called carbonnitriding; this enhances the fatigue strength and heat dissipating capacity of the cage. We also felt we needed to fancy them up so we coated them with silver (yes, real silver) to help prevent lubrication failure during operation.



Produced using performance materials to increase durability and provide greater reliability, our gasket kits are offered in both top end and complete gasket kits. Clutch gaskets are available for some applications.
